More reasons to hate rampant hormones
Number 683: They make you weep all morning, listening to NPR's merciless procession of maudlin story after maudlin story - people losing everything in the midwest flooding, the joy of same-sex weddings in California, a human interest piece on a blogger with a cancerous brain tumors, 1,000 wildfires in Northern Cali, anything Bush says about anything, rednecks complaining that Obama is Muslim and therefore un-voteworthy, and squealing robot baby seals employed to cheer up nursing home residents.
I'm a sexual harassment prevention enthusiast by trade and a poet by training (although not so much by practice). My extracurricular activities include drinking tea and staring into space, starting books (sometimes I even finish them), yoga, biking, and lots of varied, amateurish creative pursuits. I have a smart dog and a smarter husband.
